Amol graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2015 after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Shortly after graduating, he acquired experience in Private Practice Clinic environment for 6 months before finding his true passion in the field of Gerontology and Geriatric Rehabilitation.
He practised as a Mobile Physiotherapist for more than 2 years providing Physiotherapy services to many Aged care facilities primarily in Perth Metropolitan region, with exposure to regional settings in Geraldton, Western Australia. He was also recognized in his clinical ability and encouraged to take his Geriatric expertise to Noosa and Brisbane, Queensland as well as Hobart, Tasmania.
Progressing further in his career, Amol operated as WA Team Leader and Clinical Manager in Physiotherapy for over a year. He gained a firm understanding of critical components in Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI), maintained positive relations with multiple Facility Managers and Key Stakeholders and assisted in resolving issues related to Government Accreditation and Validation processes. Amol ensured efficient delivery of Clinical Services across multiple Aged Care Facilities in Perth, by managing a team of more than 15 practitioners/clinicians compromising of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Now with a wealth of clinical aged care experience behind him, Amol seeks to promote quality Geriatric Pain Management and Rehabilitation Services to as many residents as possible in various Aged Care Facilities across Western Australia, with optimism nationally in the future through ACRS.
